Ærø Island | Denmark

Postcard
There are about 406 islands in Denmark. Some 70 of them are populated but the remainder are uninhabited.

Ærø is one of the Danish Baltic Sea islands. The name comes from the Danish words ær, menaning maple, and ø meaning island. The island has a population of about 6,500.

Stamp
Did you know that 25 Danish Krone is about 3.35 euro. Wow, amazing postage!
