The Great Wall | China

Postcard
The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China. To protect the empire against raids and invasions.

The Badaling section is the most visited section of the Great Wall and is located approximately 80 kilometres from Beijing city. This part of the wall was built in 1504 during the Ming Dynasty.

I have a friend who traveled there and I have to admit, I was envious. I'd like to see this wall. I watched a documentary about this wall and they traced it where some of the wall is nothing much but rubble

Beautiful postcard. I really like sunsets on my postcards. I would like to one day walk through the Great Wall.
