Breadfruit | Marshall Islands

Postcard
The Marshall Islands is an island country located near the equator in the Pacific Ocean. The country's population of 53,000 is spread out over 29 coral atolls, comprising moren than 1,000 individual islands and islets.

The islands share maritime boundaries with the Federated States of Micronesia to the west, Wake Island to the north, Kiribati to the south-east, and Nauru to the south.

The postcards shows a series of four stamps issued in 1990, Traditional Food: Breadfruit. We see harvesting, peeling and skinning, soaking and kneading dough.

Stamp
The Southern Stingray, part of a set of three definitives about Rays (2015).

Thank you so much Rod, great surprise!
