Australia week: Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens

Postcard
The grand Royal Exhibition Building was built to host the Melbourne International Exhibition in 1880–1881. It is the world's only surviving Great Hall, constructed as an exhibition space and still used for that purpose.

A Unesco world heritage site since 2004.

Thx Steve!
