Terceira is an island in the Azores
archipelago, located in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. Terceira is
the third largest island after São Miguel and Pico. Terceira
was discovered as third island of the Azores and that is why its named Terceira:
meaning ‘the third’ in Portuguese.
