This park, formerly called Uluru National Park, features
spectacular geological formations that dominate the vast red sandy plain of
central Australia. Kata Tjuta (pictured on this card) are a group of 36 large domed rock
formations located about 365 km of Alice Springs. The other
major landmark is Uluru, commonly known as Ayers Rock.
