Monastery of Gračanica, Kosovo

Medieval Monuments in Kosovo is a World Heritage Site consisting of four Serbian Orthodox Christian churches and monasteries: Dečani Monastery, Patriarchate of Peć Monastery, Our Lady of Ljeviš and Gračanica Monastery.
 
The monastery in the village of Gračanica (near Pristina) is one of Kosovo's best religious monuments. It was built in 1321 by the legendary king of Serbia, Milutin Nemanjic.

Stamps
(left) Issued by UNMIK in 2007, Monumental Art –Architecture. UNMIK is the officially mandated mission of the United Nations in Kosovo. In 2001 UNMIK started issuing its own postage stamps.

(right) In 2012 the local Kosovo government issued three stamps picturing water resources lakes.
